I build
systems that
teach.
Games that explain conservation and misinformation. Curricula that teach 400+ kids to code. An app guiding a daily practice for thousands. I'm Ashmith Yaramada — I spend most of my time in Unity, LangChain, and three small companies I've started.

About
Most of what I've built follows the same pattern: take something complicated — wildlife conservation policy, the basics of programming, an ancient text — and turn it into something someone can actually pick up and use. Sometimes that's a game. Sometimes it's a curriculum. Right now it's a mobile app. I'm currently a freshman at Georgia Institute of Technology studying Computer Science, and outside of class I split my time between three companies I co-founded and a research background in reinforcement learning and serious games.
Things I've founded
Four ongoing companies/products, each teaching something different to a different audience.
Cognicade Studios
Serious games for classroom learning. I lead design and coding on every title we ship.
Mini Makers
Programming education for K-12 students. I write and teach curricula spanning 8+ languages and tools — revenue funds a charitable partnership with DoSomething.org.

Karana
A mobile app for daily Hindu practice — the Bhagavad Gita verse-by-verse, guided meditation, and a personal fasting/festival calendar. I own frontend design and creative direction alongside two co-founders.
ClubChamp
A full-stack CTE competition-prep platform — automated assessments, performance analytics, a resource library. Piloted with Loudoun County Public Schools, then handed over for the district to run.
Projects
Hackathon builds, research tools, and side projects — each one a small, complete system.
Experience
Research Intern, ASSIP
Co-designed The FACTory, a serious game teaching digital misinformation literacy through narrative immersion and fact-checking mechanics. Co-authored findings published in the Journal of Student-Scientists' Research (Vol. 7, 2025); presented at 4 university symposia.

Game Development Team Lead
Implemented core gameplay mechanics and systems for Counter Poaching Games, an educational wildlife-conservation experience. Directed a cross-functional team of 8 developers and artists, managing sprint timelines and documentation.
Data Platform Intern
Built an internal CRUD platform for employee/project data management, working solo, replacing a legacy spreadsheet workflow.
Web Development Intern
Helped both firms develop and manage their websites, working in a small team to implement structural and design changes.
Recognition
Emerging Innovators Finalist
Top 6 of 100 global student changemakers, selected from thousands of applicants across 29 countries.

Papers & Findings
Reinforcement Learning in Game Environments
Independent study with Emergence AI training RL agents in Unity — analyzing how decision-frequency hyperparameters affect stable policy generation across genres.
